DESC Services hiring for Community Support Workers

DESC Services is a social service agency that supports adults with developmental disabilities. We are currently looking for Community Support Workers to fill the following positions:-

Post Name:-Community Support Workers

1.  Wake Night shift, 4 on, 4 off, 11 pm-0800 in a home in Vernon
2. On call positions in our staffed residential homes in both Vernon and Lake Country and our Community Inclusion program in Vernon.

Successful candidates will have current CPR/ First aid, drivers licence, access to a reliable vehicle and preferably have relevant post secondary education and experience in the field. Training can be provided to applicants who show a aptitude for the position but may not have direct education or experience. Experience with mental health issues. Autism, FASD, individuals with communication challenges or CPI training an asset.
