Advertised Position – Coordinator Anti-Doping

The Agency is looking for talented, inspiring and committed individuals who can assist to ensure compliance with international anti-doping regulations, conduct education and awareness programs, and manage doping control activities.

Position Purpose
The Coordinator Anti-Doping will report directly to the Chair of Drug-Free Sports Fiji and work closely with athletes, coaches, sports organisations, and relevant stakeholders to safeguard the integrity of sports in Fiji. The Anti-Doping Officer will be responsible for implementing and enforcing anti-doping policies and regulations, conducting investigations, and educating athletes, coaches, and support staff about the dangers and consequences of doping.

Key Duties:

1. Coordinate and assist in the establishment of the DFSF as an independent NADO.
2. Develop, implement, and update anti-doping policies and procedures in accordance with international standards and regulations.
3. Develop and deliver educational programs to athletes, coaches, and support staff regarding the consequences of doping, the importance of clean sports, and the anti-doping rules.

Person Specification:
Ideally, an undergraduate degree with practical experience in sports development and anti doping practises programs and procedures. Some medical or legal background will be an added advantage to this role. However, a can-do attitude, an interest in clean sports and loads of common sense are essential.

Remuneration:

This position will be paid on the salary range of $22,528.74 – $28,883.00.
