Senior Production Technologist Job vacancy at Dialog Energy Sdn Bhd

Post Name: Senior Production Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Lead production surveillance activities to maximize oil and gas production and potential of existing wells through comprehensive well surveillance and unplanned well deferment minimization
• Prepare and issue Daily Oil Performance report, and maintain up-to-date production and wells database
• Validate and QC production well test and daily production data
• Observe and subsequently propose mitigation plans for improvement
• Analyze and prepare the Technical Potential (TP) and availability for assets and wells
• Plan and implement production well test, gas balance and well sampling programs
• Develop tracking mechanism, analysis and plots based on available gas lift facilities data and propose the optimum gas lift parameters for each flowing well
• Monitor the daily gas injection and validate the injection rate
• Prepare the monthly Bayan Alliance Incremental Oil Statement
• Support the PCSB SKO Production Surveillance team and SKO Offshore Operation team
• Assist in troubleshooting operation well issues and propose solutions and recommendations for improvement
• Liaise and communicate with the Production Enhancement team in Kuala Lumpur regarding production optimization and well issues
• Oversee Monthly Interface Meetings (for Alliance and PCSB) and act as Alliance representative in various meetings in SKO

Requirements:

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in petroleum engineering with proven sound technical knowledge
• Well-versed with drilling/production operations, inflow performance, outflow performance, impairment/stimulation, completion design, production forecasting & well surveillance and production chemistry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and display good teamwork spirit
