We are currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Worker to join our team and deliver culturally appropriate psychosocial interventions in community-based, non-residential settings. With a “no wrong door” policy. While based in Cunnamulla, you will provide outreach opportunities to client in Thargomindah and Bolon.

Position Overview:
Your responsibilities will include operating within the harm minimization framework, recognizing the spectrum of substance use, stages of change and responding to a wide range of psychoactive substances. The Clinical Worker will support the needs of clients and their families, ensuring a holistic approach with an understanding of rapidly changing drug use trends.
Core components of the role will include intake, screening and assessment, treatment planning, brief interventions, counselling using endorsed therapeutic approached, harm reduction education and information, referral to other services, discharge planning and post-treatment support. Counselling may include group and individual sessions.
