We (Everrise Departmental Store) are a successful and leading premium supermarket chain well established in East Malaysia with presence in Kuching, Miri & Kota Kinabalu, and would like to invite the committed and energetic individual to join us in Kuching HQ.
Job Requirement for Human Resource Manager at Everrise Departmental Store
Post Name: Human Resource Manager
Your role as a HR Manager at Everrise:
- Responsible for matters related to human capital management, including but not limited to manpower planning, succession planning, training, etc.
- Responsible for payroll, recruitment, conduct interview, candidate selection and employee performance management. Conduct & analyze exit interviews.
- Manage HR records, attendance records, leave administration, disciplinary issues, staff welfare, employee counseling, etc.
- Manage performance appraisals and advice management on remuneration, promotions, etc based on bench marking of salaries, industry trends, etc. and implement the key performance indicator (KPI)
- Plan, manage and implement Company policies and procedures in accordance with the Company directions and Malaysian Regulation
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues, including employee disciplinary matters and possible legal appeals for terminated staff.
- Develop and implementing new processes to help the Company offers a better workplace for staff
- Liaise with the necessary local government, authorities, agencies and statutory bodies in relation to the regulation compliance, compensation, benefit, etc
- Other duties, tasks or assignments determined by the management from time to time
Our requirements as a HR Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Human Resource Management.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Human Resources field, ideally 3 years in a managerial position.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
- Able to communicate well at all levels, to ensure messages are clearly articulated.
- Required languages: English, Bahasa, Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Well organized, able to prioritize tasks strategically to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Strong leadership skills to provide guidance and assistance to employee within the department as well as throughout the Company.
- Positive, team player, trustworthy, reliable, high self-discipline and committed to work.
- Good knowledge in employment laws, and other relevant statutory regulations and HR related matters.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and maintaining confidentiality.
- Prior exposure to the Retail, F&B & Hospitality industry would be an advantage.
