Job Descriptions:

• To ensure the timely implementation of GIS- related projects
• To assist in the development and management of GIS project plans including defining requirements, tasks, and resource assignments, ensuring that approved quality levels and deadlines are met
• To prepare GIS project plans and schedules to include coordinating resources, tasks and work assignments
• To be able to liaise and work closely with inter departmental levels & government authorities, including processing team work qualities & willing to learn and assist in all phases of GIS development and applications
• To monitor and inspect, review, prepare and update digital inventory map for new roads & drains, riparian’s, steep area, buffer zones and field blocking system
• To develop and advice on other GIS/GPS/RS applications technology for management’s continuous improvement & innovation program from time to time.
  Job Requirements:

• Process at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics Engineering/Cartography/Survey/Geographic Information System or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Preferably with 1-3 years working experience in GIS/GPS/RS applications
• Knowledge of GIS mapping software products including ESRI ArcGIS, Intergraph Geomedia Professional, and Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D
• Having good interpersonal communication skills with fluency in spoken & written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficient in Mandarin will be an advantage
• Willing to be travel inside and outside of Sarawak.
