FDMC Francis Douglas Memorial College is a state-integrated Catholic boys’ day and boarding school located within the city of New Plymouth with students ranging from Years 7 to 13. The school’s present roll is 750, with 100 of the students being Year 7 to 13 boarders. Lasalle House hostel buildings are on the school site so that students have ready access to facilities.

Director of Boarding Job Vacancies at Francis Douglas Memorial College New Plymouth

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person to lead all aspects of our Boarding operations, engaging in the full life of the College and contributing to the ongoing success of the College.
The College & Lasalle House combines sound traditions, values and clear boundaries in a safe and nurturing environment where boys can reach their potential in both curricula and extra curricula activities. The Director of Boarding will oversee the staffing and operations of boarding at FDMC, reporting directly to the CEO of Lasalle House.

The ideal candidate will:

• have a strong interest in the pastoral care of our boys
• strong management skills in planning and organization
• have excellent organizational, administrative skills and communication skills
• be both a leader and a mentor to boarding staff, and the boys
• positively support the school’s Special Catholic Character.
