Post Name: Commercial Analyst

The Commercial Analyst is part of the Strategy & Finance team and is responsible to proactively obtain, maintain, manage and analyse data relevant to Fiji Gas Ltd’s business. This position reports directly to the Manager, Strategy & Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

– providing senior management with detailed financial and business analysis on a broad range of commercial initiatives;
– Analysis of business trends to identify growth, opportunities, risks and exposures for each revenue stream;
– Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports;
– Preparation of business plans, business case analysis and company specific financial analysis;
– Manage LPG supply chain and general procurement function of the business:
– Identifying cost saving opportunities an assisting departments with implementation.

Requirements & Experience:

The successful candidate must have:

1.  A Degree or higher tertiary qualification in Accounting, Economics or Information Systems with at least 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position and proven experience in financial. Economic and statistical analysis/modelling:
2. Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
3. Demonstrated desire to develop new business or positively impact business financial results:
4. Ability to support and successfully work with others and interact with and influence a wide range of business stakeholders;
5. Must be a self starter and possess drive for results:
6. Ability to participate and contribute in a team environment and possess strong client relationship skills.
