Reporting to Fiji Link’s Senior Manager Ground Operations, the successful incumbent will be based at the Labasa airport. You must ensure that Fiji Link’s Brand Personality is embodied through Service Delivery and its core values are ingrained in its airport operations.

This role is responsible for monitoring flights, coordinating and supporting the team to drive on-time performance and ensures adherence to Safety, Security. Operational, Organizational and Statutory requirements. The role is also to ensure that the company revenue is maximized through ticket sales, Excess baggage charges and cargo sales.

Key Outputs:

• Monitors the facilitation of passenger services at check-in, boarding and disembarkation as well as aircraft handling
• Checks and ensures closure of flights in the system and the timely completion of Load sheets
• Establishes and maintains an effective relationship with the Reservations, Sales, Engineering, Flight Operations and Operations Control Centre departments to ensure seamless operations
• Responsible for driving and ensuring financial processes for Passenger and Cargo Handling is followed and targeted revenue aspects of service delivery is achieved
• Ensures security of cash at the airport is properly accounted for and maintained
• Maintains a high level of safety and security at all times
• Ensures the delivery of a Desired Level of service at all stations
• Embodies the 4 core values of Fiji Link – Welcoming, Vibrant, Hassel-free and Green

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• A Form 7/ Year 13 pass or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in an airport or aviation operation is required
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good supervisory skills with the ability to mentor and coach subordinates effectively
• Self-organised and capable of working under pressure
• Must be conversant with airport operations regulations with the ability to apply appropriately
