Post Name: VAC 47/2023: Technical Officer – Electrical [Suva]
Reporting to Manager Projects, you will be responsible for ensuring that the technical input for all Electrical works to Capital Projects, major/minor renovations and/or equipment upgrade are in accordance to all relevant codes, standard industry best practices and are delivered successfully within the timelines, with best value for money, growing the Portfolio and in the best interest of the Fund.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical.
• At least five (5) years’ work experience in electrical engineering design and project management for building construction projects.
• Proven work experience in the installation of generator load up to but not limited to 1 MVA.
• Knowledge of electrical calculations, equipment life cycle, motors/controls and secondary power distribution.
• Able to do maximum load/demand calculations.
• Knowledge of Building Codes and AS/NZS standards for building and electrical and services design.
• Able to carry out fault finding on all types of electrical systems.
• Able to read and interpret all types of technical drawings, layouts and as-builts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Programs and AutoCAD.
• Must have a valid group 2 full driver’s license.

Post Name: VAC 48/2023: Tradesman Plumbing [Suva]
Reporting to Team Lead Technical, you will be responsible for all general plumbing works which includes installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures, plants for fresh water supply distributions and waste water disposal which includes sewerage systems, sewage pumps in the FNPF properties.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that the assigned property facilities are under maximum
accessibility and resources are effectively and efficiently utilized.

Position Requirements:

• Diploma from Trade School or successful completion of apprenticeship.
• At least three (3) years’ proven experience as a plumber.
• Trade Certificate in Plumbing and experience in other Trades would be an advantage.
• Must have water fitter and sewage license.
• A valid group 2 full driver’s license would be an advantage.
• In depth understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
• Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances.
• Familiarity with all relevant techniques and tools needed to perform your duties.
• Able to complete projects unsupervised.
• Attention to detail and able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics for accurate measurements.

Reporting to Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in gathering and analysing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and working with stakeholders to ensure that the final product meets their needs.
