Food Processors (Fiji) Pte Limited (FPFL) is a State-Owned Enterprise under the Ministry of Public Enterprises. It is one of the leading processes of agricultural products, distributor and exporter of sauces, coconut cream, frozen crops, vegetables and sea foods.

Duties & Key Attributes:

  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive workplace environment. Drive a culture of continual feedback, recognition, and improvement.
  • Support and spot opportunities for employee engagement and well-being initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and review HR strategies, policies and programs that align with the organization’s mission and values when required.
  • Ensure Human Capital Management (HCM) risks are monitored, and strategies executed.
  • Robust and well-plan annual HCM budget to be developed including training and development plans.
  • Business to be fully compliant with payroll operations. Manage HR metrics and reporting, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure succession planning is performed with the identification of potential talent for critical roles.
  • Manage employee retention programs, including performance management and career development.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and investigations.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process as per the company policy.
  • Monitor employee and organizational health and well-being and foster a safe, positive workplace culture through the development of employee workplace safety, health and well-being initiatives, programs and strategies.

Person Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field. A postgraduate diploma will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in HR management. Experience at the management level will be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of the Pay Global system, HR policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership skills and knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management and planning skills, including the ability to solve problems.
  • Have a strong understanding of organizational culture.
