Goldington Academy is a very successful school in bedford. The Secondary school serves an established area to the north-east of bedford town centre and currently has 730 students on roll.

Post Name: Clerk To Governors
From December 2018 – £135 per Full Governing Body meeting and £110 per Committee meeting.
There are approximately 6 Full Governing Body meetings per academic year, 1 Annual General Meeting and 18 governing body Committee meetings.
We invite applications for a Clerk to the Governing Body. The Clerk is required to attend and minute all statutory meetings of the Governing Body, including sub-committee meetings and any additional meetings as required. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, highly organized and be able to maintain confidentiality.

Goldington Academy Post Name: Data Assistant

Level 2C, points 12-15 (£17,173 to £17,972 pro rata)
We require a Data Assistant to support the raising of student achievement through assisting in the maintenance and development of whole school data management systems. Ensuring accurate and current data is available that meets the requirements of the key stakeholders including data in summary, statistical and graphical forms. The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to cope with conflicting demands whilst remaining calm and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Post Name: Science Technician
To start ASAP – Full or part time considered, term time only plus training days
Level 3C, points 17-20 (£18,672 to £19,819 pro rata)
We are seeking to appoint a Science Technician to provide technical support for the work of the teachers within the department, working closely with the Head of Department and senior Science Technician. The successful candidate will be calm, organized, trustworthy and reliable. They will work to high standards and communicate effectively with children and adults alike.

Post Name: Small Group Intervention Teacher
To start ASAP – Casual, term time only plus some holiday cover (£25 per hour – negotiable)
We require an enthusiastic and suitably qualified teacher to provide small group or individual intervention sessions to pupils identified for additional support in English and/or Maths primarily at Key Stage 3. The successful applicant will have a good track record of effective teaching, good subject specific knowledge and be able to plan a tailored programme of support. They will advise parents/carers/teachers on how the support links with on-going class work.

Goldington Academy Post Name: Cleaner
To start ASAP – Daily from 4pm-6pm, term time plus training days and 16 (2 hour) days during the holidays. Level 1C. Point 6 (equal to £8.50 per hour)
