Hawthorn Muscat llcc available urgent vacancies for the post of Learning Support Assistant, to work for PDO School.

Post Name: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Main Tasks:-

– Provide support to Senior Teaching staff
– Support pupils incl. those with special learning needs
– Assist in development and implementation of learning activities
– Monitor pupils’ progress/achievement/problem areas

Key Qualifications and Skills Required

•  At least 3 years experience of working/supporting in school or early year setting
• Bachelor/Diploma or equivalent in Primary Education, Early Childhood Development., Montessori, Support Teaching
• Training in relevant learning strategies, e.g. literacy, mathematics, child care
• Excellent communication, reading and writing skills in English.
• Excellent numerical skills
• Effective use of technology in learning activities
• General understanding of English National/Early Years Foundation Stage/ international Primary Curriculum or other Primary based learning programmes /strategies
