Job Opening for Officer Executive Technician at Hornbill Skyways Sdn Bhd

Post Name: Procurement Executive
Job Responsibilities

  • Perform procurement needs and provide advisory role to staff members.
  • Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project
  • Source for new products and review the existing ones to ensure that the products remain competitive, and get quotations from different suppliers.
  • Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions
  • In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules
  • Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
  • Assist in Performance Review for vendors
  • Work closely with the department to ensure procurement processes are carried out accordingly.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
  • Ensure that the Tender Management is in line with the established policies and procedures.
  • Improve the procurement processes, coordinate the procurement activities with users in order to operate within the budgeted amount and meet cost reduction objectives
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • At least a bachelor degree or professional qualification from a Malaysian or overseas university in an area relevant to the duties
  • Preferred 5 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity preferably in Aviation industry
  • Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customer
  • Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Words, Excel, Access) and experience in SAP is an added advantage
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Self-starter, resourceful, pro-active, thorough and detail-oriented in obtaining and producing procurement information

Post Name: Procurement Officer
Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and place purchase orders for goods and services.
  • Responsible for coordinating, retaining and maintaining procurement records and provide guidance to support staff.
  • Maintain contact with suppliers, research for a variety of goods and services to determine availability and characteristics of commodities and services
  • Assist to develop, implement and maintain procurement related procedure, work instructions, guideline and manual.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Contact vendors to obtain availability and product characteristics information or solicit quotes; develop request for quotation; and confer with suppliers concerning new products, damaged goods, delayed payments or related information
  • Assist Procurement Executive to manage the tender when required.
  • Maintain knowledge of all procedures, rules and regulations pertinent to procurement.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification from a Malaysian or overseas university in an area relevant to the duties; or a Diploma in an area relevant to the duties with a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
  • Experience in procurement field is an added advantage
  • Sound technical skills in Ms Office
  • Self-starter, resourceful, pro-active, thorough and detail-oriented in obtaining and producing procurement information.

Post Name: Internal Audit (Assistant)
Job Responsibilities

  • To perform procedural audit based on instruction from the Head of Internal Audit.
  • Document audit work in an organised, accurate and concise manner, and clearly supported with identified findings.
  • Assist to prepare audit work programs and audit work paper, as well as to document all audit work papers in a systematic way.
  • Assist to prepare internal audit report including findings, implications and concrete recommendation in a timely manner.
  • Possess auditing skills with the ability to develop reporting issues from a risk perspective and to recommend improvement as a team member to the Head of Internal Audit as and when required.
  • Follow up with auditee to ensure the audit recommendations have been effectively implemented.
  • Undertake ad-hoc audit, investigation and other assignment as per directed by Head of Internal Audit.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least diploma, Advanced/Higher/Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 2 to 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, Fresh graduates encourage to apply for this position
  • Sound technical skills in Ms Office and Data Analytics.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills and excellent report writing skills.
  • To meet deadlines and have good time management.
  • Experience in aviation industry would be an advantage.

Post Name: Building Maintenance Officer
Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall building maintenance.
  • Source quotation and liaises with supplier, vendors and contractors for maintenance and improvement works.
  • Undertake minor building repair works, i.e. plumbing, electrical fitting etc.
  • To supervise cleaning services and general workers.
  • Liaise with suppliers / contractors for rectification and repair works.
  • To prepare and monitor budget for the maintenance unit.
  • To prepare maintenance report.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical or Property Management or any other related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in building and facility maintenance and/or property management.
  • Effective written and oral communication in English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Familiar with building mechanical and electrical systems including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and general building maintenance as well as fire protection system.
  • Prepared to work after business hours and on weekends and public holidays, as assigned.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Sound technical skills in Ms Office
  • Experience/Certification in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) would be an added advantage.

Post Name: Building Maintenance Technician
Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Building Maintenance Officer for overall building maintenance.
  • Undertake minor building repair works, i.e. plumbing, electrical fitting etc.
  • Liaise with suppliers / contractors for rectification and repair works.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • At least SPM or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Skilled in technical and building maintenance works.
  • Possess recognized certification in electrical and air-condition or related fields.
  • Prepared to work after business hours and on weekends and public holidays, as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge in computer skills would be an added advantage.
