Position A: Safety Engineer

Job Responsibilities / Requirements

• Responsible for leading all EHS program/elements, regulatory compliance, incident/accident prevention and environmental protection for manufacturing plant
• Good understanding in ISO14001 requirements, able to develop and maintain various operational control elements and alignment of procedures (existing/new)
• Asset MR to manage all EHSMS aspects and impact of site operators and activities
• Ensures that all facilities and equipment are operated in full compliance with safety rules & requirements, consistent with all applicable regulatory requirements
• Ensures that all applicable legal requirements are met for continuous operation, which include managing company’s legal, license & permit registers
• Maintains licenses and submits reports to regulatory bodies, and provides support in REACH. RoHS and Conflict of Minerals declaration processes
• Manages site hazardous substances and its SDS database
• Enhances Safety Culture of workplace, and provides support in the development and execution of safety culture, which includes promoting safety and occupational health awareness programs, and well-being of employees
• Manages emergency safety equipment to ensure timely updates and maturity of sustenance by relevant PIC
• Lead and manages training plan, identity training needs and deliver EHS trainings
• Lead and maintains risk management program that include regular review of risk assessment plan, machine safeguarding, MOC, SGSecure, business continuity plan, etc.
• Lead and follows up on issues arising from monthly EHS committee meetings and Inspections
• Lead and conducts incident investigations as well as CAPA reporting, which includes closing up of corrective actions with affected departments where applicable
• Assists facilities & Equipment Maintenance Team in reviewing contractor’s risk assessment, and compliance requirement i.e. contractor safety management
• Supports and leads, where applicable, improvement protects / tasks, e.g. product line expansion / re-layout. new equipment, etc
• Diploma/Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, or relevant engineering field
• Registered FSM with SCDF
• ISO14001 and ISO45001 Auditor certifications
• More than 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, Code of Practices and regulatory requirements, as well as ISO14001 and ISO045001 standards
• Strong technical experience in identifying, evaluating and controlling hazards in workplace

Position B: Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities / Requirements

• Plan projects, establish project criteria and ensure proper implementation of project
• Determine project specifications by studying design, requirements and performance standards
• Complete technical studies and prepare cost estimates
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinate activities and resolving problems
• Prepares project status reports
• Work with Production and Technical Improvements to implement process improvements and/or cost saving activities
• 2-4 years of project management and related experience
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of Autocad and project management software preferred

Position C: Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities / Requirements

• Assist the Production Manager in the day-to-day operations of the production lines
• Plans and coordinates the work flow on the production lines to achieve production targets according to agreed schedules and quality standards
• Identify & resolve technical and operational issues as well as identify potential issues and work with all team to implement proactive measures to accomplish operational objective within own dept
• Establish work standards/work flow to comply to stipulate and safety requirements
• Ensure employee follow safety, quality requirement and all applicable company policies at all times
• Trains, motivates and guides subordinates, maintains discipline among the operatives and provides input to their performance appraisals
• Nitec / Diploma in Engineering
• 5 years’ experience in supervisory roles
• Well verse in MS Office

Position D: Toolmaker

Job Responsibilities / Requirements

• Improve yield and quality of product as well as minimise scrap cost
• Upkeep and maintain production machinery and equipment
• Attend to breakdown and perform troubleshooting
• Investigate causes of breakdown and analyse machinery and tooling problems effecting product quality
• Responsible for Product Quality and Quantity
• Nitec in Mechanical, Nitec in Tool & Die Making
• 5 years’ experience in metal stamping industry/progressive tooling
• Basic Computer Literacy

Position E: Operators

Job Responsibilities / Requirements

• Minimum Secondary education
• Minimum 1 year experience in operating stamping / press machines / Packaging
• Operates and maintains the press machine according to Instructions and schedule
• Checking of Products against Standard

General Requirements for C to E positions:

Shift work is required/Alternate 6 working days /
Rotating Shift/Fixed Shift
