K&L Farming Industries Sdn. Bhd. it had its very humble beginnings in 1994. With its “Farm to market” concept, the Company is committed towards delivering fresh and quality processed poultry products.
Incorporated on 9th March 1994, the Company has expanded from the rearing of chickens to the processing and trading of chickens, eggs, imported frozen beef and mutton as well as vegetables and fruits, fish and other sundry goods. It is also involved in the rearing and selling of local popular fresh water fish such as tilapia, patin and sultan.

Farm Operations Executive Job Vacancy at K & L Farming Industries Sdn Bhd Kuching Sarawak Malaysia

Post Name: Farm Operations Executive

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate activities of poultry farming at farm.
2. Ensure the safety and efficiency of poultry farm operations.
3. Perform duties such as feeding poultry, harvesting or maintaining buildings.
4. Record data and create reports on worker attendance, budget, supplies and chicken growth.
5. Prepare the chicken shed for day old chicks’ intake wood shaving, heater and gas must be ready before the chicks arrived.
6. Arrange for workers to harvest the chicken when they reach marketable age/size.
7. After the chicken all harvested, arrange the disposal of the chicken droppings.
8. After the droppings are disposed, the chicken shed have to be washed and disinfected, and be ready for the next cycle intake.
9. Prioritize tasks and decide on the necessary amount of machinery and number of workers.
10. Assign duties to farm workers and ensures that they are carried out in an efficient manner.
11. Make reports on time, equipment, materials, and production; keep records and prepare estimates of needs.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Certificate / Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science/Animal Husbandry/Agriculture or equivalent;
2. Atleast 5-8 years of working experience in the related field;
3. Preferred Supervisor/Executive specializing in Poultry Farm Management with recent supervisory experience will be a pre-requisite;
4. Good work ethnics and leadership skills, committed- responsible and able to work long hours is a must
5. Applicants must be willing to work in Kuching, Sarawak. (Accommodation will be provided upon request).
