SNC-Lavalin’s subsidiary Kentz Overseas Company L.L.. a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, one of the leading engineering and construction groups in the world, is offering a PDO-sponsored training programme. Project commissioning support services are being provided by SNC-Lavalin. one of the leading engineering and construction groups in the world, for PDO’s major projects such as the Rabab Harweel Integrated and Yibal Khuff projects.

A Commissioning & Startup (CSU) programme will commence at their Muscat-based training academy for Oman graduates where successful candidates will be trained in instrument, mechanical, electrical and production disciplines. Applications are now being invited for the September 2017 semester. Completing the training leads to potential full-time employment with Kentz if candidates successfully pass technical examinations and achieve required competence levels.

  Who Are We Looking For?

• Oman nationals: all the on-job training and actual lob is in the desert (POO project sites in the Interior)
• Ambitious individuals with a two-year technical diploma in the process, chemical, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation or control and automation disciplines
• Ambitious individuals with a graduate engineering degree in the process, chemical, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation or control and automation disciplines
• Capacity: people with intellectual, analytical and creative ability who can learn quickly, identify issues, and propose innovative solutions
• Achievement: high-achievers with curiosity, self-confidence and organizational skills
• Relationship: team players with an ability to communicate across a multi-disciplinary team of engineering professionals
• Candidates must be aged 18-to 27-years on the date of application
• Those with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 who graduated in 2016-2017.
