Set in the heart of the thriving regional centre of Orange in the central west of New South Wales. Kinross Wolaroi School can trace its educational history back 130 years. Today it is a leading co-educational school of 1100 students, proud of its status as one of Australia’s largest and most successful boarding schools.

KWS is forging a national reputation for its place-based experiential learning initiatives, and with the recent purchase of a nearby farm, it hopes to base a Junior School year group on the property. The Junior School is well placed to establish itself as the school of choice in the region, igniting within students a deep love of learning, enquiry and self-discovery.

With 40 students in Pre-K and 250 in K-6. this role will suit a bold, passionate, hands-on leader who is keen to make a mark in this renowned school.

The right person will be able to work independently under the broad direction of the Principal and willing to make a meaningful contribution to whole-school discussions on the executive team. Also sought are a commitment to ongoing professional learning, demonstrated sympathy with the faith life of a Uniting Church school, and an understanding of regional and rural communities.
