KOICA Korea International wanted Assistant Program Officer

KOICA Organizational Background:-

Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the government agency responsible for implementing the Official Development Assistance (ODA) of the Republic of Korea for developing countries, is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for Assistant Program Officer for World Friend Korea (WFK) volunteer program who will work with us in the KOICA Fiji office.

Job Description:-

Post Name:- Assistant Program Officer

Duty Location: KOICA Fiji Office

Contract Type: 1 year (Renewable based on satisfactory performance)

Deadline of Application:- 10th December 2018.

(Fijian National Only).

General Requirements:-

•  Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related fields
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Good computer skills in the use of standard software programs: MS Office etc.
• Experience of working with government or international organizations would be an asset

Duties and Responsibilities:-

•  Support KOICA WFK volunteer program, including volunteer needs survey, assessment, monitoring and adaptation trainings
• Support settlement of dispatched personnel and volunteers with accommodations, visa, banking and other related logistic work
• Support general banking service for the office and volunteers, including opening and closing accounts, and transactions
• Arrange and coordinate KOICA joint activities such as events, workshops, trainings, meetings among others
• Assist with the research, including data collection, and news scraps relating to programs
