KPMG, Our client a market leader in the financial service industry is seeking a dynamic individual with exceptional leadership and management experience to lead their Distribution and Marketing team in Fiji.
Based in Suva and reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager Distribution and Marketing is responsible for the Sales. Distribution and Marketing functions. You will be responsible for driving the sales culture, be a strategic thinker, possess outstanding leadership qualities and have strong business acumen and networks. You will need to be adaptable and be respected by your peers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities also include:-

•  Contribute and participate with other executives to set the strategic direction and tactical annual plans of the business.
• Deliver sales and sales activities results as required under the company business plans.
• Translate customer segments into business action plans, set targets and implement in order to achieve milestones and the overall business strategy
• Responsible for operational planning and expense budgeting, its implementation and monitoring for the Sales Distribution and Marketing Channels.
• Responsible for the overall design and setting of sales promotion and contest programs, international trips etc within agreed budgets.
• Responsible for Training and Development to improve productivity, effectiveness and business retention.
• Accountable for the communication of compliance with laws and regulations requirements including internal rules and regulations.
• Assist in the development of the HR strategy for the Sales Network teams.
• Overall responsibility for the Marketing strategy communications and tactical plans supporting sales growth.

Qualification and experience:-

•  Degree in Business. Marketing or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales and marketing or a similar executive role in a corporate organization.
• Extensive understanding of local and international financial services market, products, risks, market environment and competitor positioning.
• Proven leadership, people management and team development skills.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to drive customer centric outcomes.
• Experience in or exposure to Process Excellence.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and proven stakeholder relationship skills.
