Laku Management Sdn. Bhd., are a Company responsible for the production and distribution of potable water in the urban areas of Miri, Bintulu and Limbang. We invite highly enthusiastic and motivated individuals to fill in the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Job Description of Chief Executive Officer (CEO):

The Job:-

As a CEO, you will advance this organization to a new level of excellence and achievement in the provision of high-quality potable water and customer-centric services to the public the Company serve. Working with the Management team, you will provide inspirational leadership balancing internal and external demands of this position. You will be a visible head to be recognized externally as the brand ambassador who is passionate and a leader of conviction. The CEO will need to be conversant with the operating metrics of a water utility company, holding accountability for the Company’s financial resources and a champion of innovation. The CEO will provide thought leadership, direction and execution of key activities with focus on growing the assets of the organization while
providing
sound return on investment.

Other key responsibilities include:-

  •  Provide thought leadership to the senior management team
  • Formulating core strategy for the business and drive the plan and development through to execution
  • Build strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Identify growth prospects in regards to assets management
  • Ensure proper governance and compliance are in place
  • Manage overall financial issues of the Company
  • Operational management making sure seamless process are in place

Requirements:-

The CEO should be a seasoned strategic leader with strong drive and work ethic to work within this demanding utility industry. He or she will be a driver of results and will have the passion to build and create a legacy within a business. The CEO will set the vision for the Company and drive the business to greater new heights.

Other expectations:-

  •  Minimum University Degree in any discipline A holder of a Master in Business Administration or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Preference for a candidate with at least 15 years of management experience.
  • Strong command of finance.
  • A people leader who is passionate about coaching and developing the next line of leaders in the business.
  • High work ethic, intuition and holds accountability for one’s action
  • Strong communication skills.
  • An effective problem solver
  • Strong ability in developing key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Well verse with the Water Ordnance and other related regulations.
