With the objective to challenge everyday people looking to lead a fitter lifestyle, Level Up Fitness plans to host a series of events and competitions for the domestic market, with the aim of eventually expanding coverage to attract international sports tourism into Sarawak.

Job Opening for Events Project Manager at Level Up Fitness Sdn Bhd

We are now looking for interested candidates to join our Events & Competition Department.

Post Name: Events & Competition Project Manager
Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all events and competitions to be hosted by Level Up Fitness: specifically, Cross Fit challenges, Spartan obstacle race events and amateur MMA fights.

Responsibilities:

• Plan events following a specific timeline and checklist and meet specific key deliverable and reporting dates.
• Recruit, lead and manage an Events Department to manage and handle all areas of competition, including establishing competition rules, event planning, logistics, marketing, and equipment procurement.
• Establish firm deadlines and planning checklists to ensure deliverables are met by team members of the Events Department.
• Supports all events and competition execution efforts by providing specific planning information to venue and government authorities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 3 years working experience, preferably in events, sports or fitness related industries
• Must hold any internationally-accredited sports or fitness trainer’s certification
• Must hold either a Cross fit, Spartan or MMA Judge/Referee Certification
• Personally competed in either MMA, Cross Fit or Spartan competition at an elite level
• Must be fluent in writing or speaking English
