Post Name: Assistant Warehouse Manager
Location: Kuching
Responsibilities:

• Reports to Manager – Distribution, Kuching Branch;
• Create various effective strategies and plans for managing all activities and operations of warehouse;
• Directs, plans and coordinates the warehouse storage and distribution operations for Kuching;
• Responsible for developing cost reducing strategies over all activities of warehouse;
• Supervising DC employees, dealing with shipping and delivery procedures;
• Ensure timely delivery to meet delivery deadlines;
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies;
• Maintain hygiene and security in the work environment;
• Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment;
• Ensures compliance with health and safety legislation.
  Requirements:
  * Diploma in Warehousing Logistics, Administrative Management or Business Management or its equivalent;
  * Those without the relevant qualifications but have 3 years experience in warehousing / logistics management are also encouraged to apply;
  * Managerial, supervisory and people management skills;
  * Excellent oral and written communication skills; Planning, organizing and numerical skills;
  * Initiative, decisiveness and logical reasoning;
  * Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  Requirements:
  * Minimum qualification SPM;
  * Minimum 2 to 3 years sales experience, preferably in General Trade;
  * Merchandisers with more than 3 years’ experience are strongly encouraged to apply,
  * Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & knowledge of Chinese dialects;
  * Results-orientated and ability to work independently and as a team;
  * Good customer service and communication skills;
  * Responsible, outgoing & pleasant personality;
  * Possess own transport.
