Post Name: Quality Assurance and Batch & Dispatch Technician
The qualified Technician / Technologist will be involved with concrete and aggregate testing both on the job site and in our lab. Involved in the commercial and residential housing sectors, both foundation construction as well as floors, slabs, and driveway concretes. Leam the batching and dispatching processes. Build customer relationships, estimate volumes, take phone calls and orders. Liaison with all staff and drivers.
Qualifications:
The candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work both independently and with our complete team, is organized and has the ability to develop and drive team objectives and build strong ethical work relationships. Previous construction experience is preferred. A strong knowledge of Vernon and area roads is essential. Able to work, at times, in a very stressful environment. Competent making and receiving phone calls and taking customer orders.
