National Dental Centre Walk-In Interview for Healthcare Attendants and Dental Surgery Assistants

Post Name:- Sponsorship – NITEC In Dental Assisting
You will be sponsored to pursue a 1 year NITEC in Dental Assisting conducted by the National Dental Centre of Singapore (NDCS), in collaboration with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE). During the course of training, you will be paid a monthly allowance.
Upon successful completion of the programme, you will join NDCS as a Dental Surgery Assistant and be expected to work at the Centre for 2 years. You will also provide four-handed assistance to dental surgeons during the treatment of patients. Your other duties include preparing procedure trays and ensuring proper maintenance of dental units.

National Dental Centre Requirements:-

•  At least GCE “O” / ‘N(A)’ Level with passes in English and Mathematics

Post Name:- Dental Surgery Assistants
You are responsible for providing four-handed assistance to specialists In the treatment of patients. You are required to comply with infection control and work safety regulations.

Requirements:-

•  Certificate in Dental Assisting or equivalent
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently

Post Name:- Dental Assistants
You are responsible for providing four-handed assistance to dental surgeons, ensuring the comfort of patients and maintaining high standards of infection control. Training will be provided.

National Dental Centre Requirements:-

•  GCE “0′ / ‘N’ / ‘A” Level qualification and above
• A team player with good Interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to multitask
• Experience in dental assisting will be an advantage

Post Name:- Healthcare Attendants / Assistants
You will support and assist with the delivery of patient care and maintaining the cleanliness of the environment. You will also assist in instrument preparation.

Requirements:-

•  Primary school-level education and above
• A good team player with a pleasant disposition
• Applicants with a WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or its equivalent will have an advantage
• Prior experience in a healthcare environment such as hospitals will be an advantage
