NAVSUP FLC Site is the Western Pacific region’s largest U.S. Navy logistics command. From its headquarters off Truman Bay, just 26 miles (41 kilometers) due south of Tokyo, the NAVSUP FLC Yokosuka enterprise networks more than 20 detachments, sites and fuel terminals from Misawa, Japan, Singapore to Sydney, Australia; Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean to Guam. Together, these detachments and sites provide logistics support to the Navy, Marine Corps, other Department of Defense (DoD) and federal activities within the 7th Fleet Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Job Announcement No. SN-006-23 (2 Vacancies) Salary starts from: SN-05: S$22271; or SN-06: S$24780

Sorts incoming mail (i.e. letters, packages, newspapers, and magazines, etc.) as required. Load applicable trucks and trailers with outgoing mail. Dispatches outgoing mail, which includes facing, canceling, sorting, labeling, typing and sacking of mail as required by the area mail routing guidelines, utilizing applicable United States Postal Service (USPS), Department of Defense (DOD), and Department of the Navy (DoN) manuals, incumbent determines if article presented for shipment can be mailed and will not present a risk to employees or equipment. Determines the proper amount of postage and fees to be applied, and advises the customer of the applicable customs requirements for the article. Accepts funds derived
from the sales of stamps, money orders, stamped paper, stamped envelopes, and Postal Validated Imprint (PVI) tapes, etc. Operates postage meter and PVI machines. Prepares daily financial reports and accounts for funds derived from finance operations. Conducts research for answers to customer questions. Provides financial training to newly appointed postal personnel.
