You will provide high quality legal advice and other legal services in connection with the NDIS Commissioner’s functions and the operation and governance of the Commission, including on complex and litigated matters. You will also lead the design and development of programs to increase awareness and understanding of the legal framework within which the Commission operates.

Post Name: Senior Lawyer (EL1)
Working closely with the Commission’s policy and operational teams, you will be providing advice and senior level input across key areas including information sharing and the exercise of powers and functions under the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (NDIS Act). You will also manage matters before courts and tribunals, ranging from external merits review to civil penalty proceedings.
