It is a busy Restaurant in Suva, currently looking for talented Head Chef to fill the exciting role

Who are we?

This is a unique and great opportunity not to be missed. This role is ideal for a hands on, talented and creative chef that is focused on standards, consistency and able to achieve results with a committed team of 15 chefs and cooks.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the kitchen management. Our ideal candidate will be highly experienced hands on culinary professional that is ready lo Lake the next step, and thrives on providing exceptional culinary experiences.

We are looking for:

• At least 3 years in a Sous Chef role or Head Chef in upmarket restaurant or Hotel environment
• Creative flair, strong attention to detail, and passion for food.
• Effective leadership, communication and organizational skills
• The ability to work productively in a fast paced and changing environment
• Train and mentor a small team of chefs and cooks
• Work closely with the General Manager and Restaurant Manager.
• Achieve financial and non-financial KPIs
• Sound knowledge of menu engineering, inventory management, and cost control processes
• Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and OH&S guidelines
