The Parks Trust Post Name: Landscape Maintenance Trainee Craftsman
37.5 hours per week. Initial salary is £14,500 – £16,500 per annum (depending on experience)
Descriptions:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic person keen to develop a career in amenity horticulture to join our Landscape Maintenance team. The post will involve a three year training scheme (including attendance of appropriate courses). You may already have some experience in the landscape or forestry industry or are attending college on an industry related course (e.g. horticulture, land management). This post will suit someone who likes physical challenges and is happy to work outside in all the seasons. Work includes; shrub pruning, weed control, coppicing, hedge and tree works.
(Packages include 25 days’ annual leave & pension).

The post will involve a three year training scheme (including attendance of appropriate courses). You may already have some experience in the landscape or forestry industry or are attending college on an industry related course (e.g. horticulture, forestry). This post will suit someone who wants to work outside and who likes physical challenges. Work involves all types of soft and hard landscape activities e.g. vegetation based and working with the parks fixture and fittings. (Packages include 25 days annual leave & pension).
