Pertama Ferroalloys job vacancy for Senior Manager and Chemist

Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. was established on 2nd December 2010 as the first large-scale manganese alloys and ferrosilicon plant in Malaysia. Formerly known as AML Manganese (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., the company was established by global ferroalloy production leaders to produce and supply manganese alloy products for the steel industry worldwide. The end-products will be also for the local market and exported to world-wide countries like Korean, Japan, Europe, U.S. etc. To cope with our business development, we are now inviting high calibre candidates to be part of the pioneer group. We are looking for suitable candidates for the below position.

All the position will be based in Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu and Sarawak.

Position Name: Senior Manager Instrument, Mechanical and Project (01 Position)

Key Responsibilities:-

•  Responsible for full spectrum of Instrument, Mechanical and Project Section at Pertama premise.
• Responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinerymalays and processes.
• Strong skills in specific control discipline such as, Programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).

Job Requirements:-

•  Possess Professional Qualification with 10 years’ experience in Instrument, Mechanical and Project in smelting plant.

Position Name:- Chemist (02 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:-

•  Responsible for laboratory daily activities in his/her shift.
• Responsible for ensuring proper sample preparation by Laboratory technician for subsequent analysis by the analyst
• Responsible for proper handling over and taking over of pending laboratory analytical works during shift change over.
• Coordinating with his/her superiors in all aspects.

Job requirements;-

•  Possess Degree in Chemistry / Technical Certificate in Chemical with five (05) years working experience in smelting plant / ferroalloys industry / steel industry.
