Post Name: Grain Account Manager – Upper North Island

In this senior-level. Waikato-based role, you will establish, develop and maintain professional relationships with key / large grain growers, grain companies, grain processors and end-users, plus other associated industry participants within Waikato, Auckland and Northland.

You will work with the Maize Product Manager and other key Pioneer team members to help develop and implement strategic plans which relate to maize grain and industry relationships. Having a passion for maize grain as a key component of sustainable farming systems, you will keep up to date with the latest market trends – both nationally and internationally, sharing that knowledge to educate and empower your regional colleagues within Pioneer Seeds.

Core competencies to be successful include:

• Strong knowledge of the NZ grain industry
• Ability to complete planned travel within NZ
• 5+ years infield technical sales experience
• Understanding of changing farming systems
