Post Name: Production Manager
Job Description of Production Manager:

• To be Involve in the planning, directing and coordinating the operations of production
• Establish clear measurable goals and objectives, to drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics
• Develop, configure and optimize industrial Processes from inception through to start up and certification
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• To Ensure optimum production WIP inventory for continuous flow and meeting financial inventory commitment
• Promote safe and zero injury working environment among subordinates staff
• Perform risk assessments
• Foster innovation culture among subordinates staff
• Take full responsibility on production’s 5S

Production Manager Requirements:

• Requires good people management skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent with minimum 8 years working experience with aluminium smelting, casting or metal industry
• Excellent engineering analytical skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, experienced in handling manufacturing such as Lean Manufacturing or production floor personnel
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
• Independent, resourceful and take initiative. Able to communicate and collaborate well with cross functional team
• Must be able to confront conflicts and take ownership in resolving them quickly
• Good Project Management skills, reporting generation and presentation skills
