Post Name: Customs Clerk – Lautoka

Seeks to a recruit dynamic, resourceful and performance-oriented individual for the above position to be based in Lautoka.

Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Preparing and Lodgments in ASYCUDA World and further liaising with custom officers for assessment of SADs and paying duty and others fees for customs clearance.
• Arranging of FRCS, BAF and MOH officers for the Cargo Examination at Wharf, CFS and at Punjas premises.
• Arranging all necessary export documents to gate in the export shipment to wharf
• Arranging of Customs officers for examination of Duty Drawback at Export Warehouse.
• Collecting of shipping documents from banks
• Following up with shipping for arrivals and deliveries for our Import Consignments
• Liaising with carting contractors for delivery of FCL / LCL cargos.
• Liaising with fumigation contractors to fumigate necessary shipment.
• Coordinating with Biosecurity and Health officers for import clearance
• Liaising with Procurement / Export dept on upcoming shipment and plan job accordingly

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Customs or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of progressive experience
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
