Manager Agronomist Inspector Worker Career Opportunity at Pusaka Capital Sdn Bhd Kuching Sarawak Malaysia

Position 1: General Manager

The Functions:

The incumbent is required to blend business acumen and operational knowledge to drive business results while building a high-performing team. This role uses discretion in assigning duties to employees and in employment decisions and is accountable for the achievement of business goals, prudent financial management, effective and efficient operations, commercially viable projects and high performance staffing. Formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all divisional department activities to develop and Implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Science, Forestry, Plantation management or other relevant disciplines from a recognized institution.
• Ten (10) years working experience in agriculture environment with at least three (3) years in top management position
• Good business acumen with experience in both field work and commercial environment.
• Exhibits strong problem-solving skills in long-term and immediate situations, self-motivated and result-driven
• Excellent analytical abilities with commercial awareness, excellent communications (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills,
• Familiar with the government policies with regards to agriculture sectors and local councils’ requirements and rules and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and applications.

Position 2: Agronomist

The Functions:
The position shall be responsible in developing better planting, cultivation and harvesting techniques, Researches and promotes agricultural strategies to counter the effects of changes in soil climate, weather, and pest damage. Work closely with the plantation operations teams to ensure successful Implementation of the procedures and prepare analysis and data presentation.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Science, Forestry, Plantation management or other relevant disciplines from a recognized institution. Specialising in soil science will be an added advantage.
• At least two(2) years working experience as agronomist or similar environment.
• In-depth knowledge of soil and crop principles.
• Independent and good communication skill (verbal and writing).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and application.
• Willing to be relocated and based in project site within or outside Sarawak.

Position 3: QA / QC Inspector

The Functions:

The position will be responsible In ensuring the product quality is within the guideline and specifications. Response to any non-conformity of products & provides necessary reports to management. Inspects, compares, examines the quality of the product samples using industry appropriate method. Monitors the use of tools / equipment to ensure working environment is safe. Coordinates day to day quality control inspection and related activities in the plantation,

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or other relevant disciplines from a recognized institution.
• At least two (2) years working experience in quality assurance field, particularly in agriculture sector,
• Familiar with current QA / QC methods and techniques especially in agriculture sectors.
• Independent and good communication skill (verbal and writing).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and application.
• Willing to be relocated and based in project site within or outside Sarawak.

Position 4: General Worker / Plantation Assistant

The Functions:

The position shall be responsible to carry out all types of physical day-to-day works in plantation related to pre-planting operations, fertilizing, manuring, planting, harvesting, overall maintenance of plantation and other general works as instructed from time to time.

Requirements:

• Mentally strong and physically fit.
• Punctual and willing to work longer hours.
• Willing to be relocated and based in plantation site within or outside Sarawak,
