About the organization
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is a medical college, education provider, standard-setter and advocate for the health of all Australians. A professional collective with patient-centered care at its heart, it represents more than 40,000 members including general practitioners (GPs), GPs in training and medical students. The RACGP Board now seeks to appoint an exceptional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to support them in the next phase of their continued growth in member services and advocacy.

Job Vacancy for Chief Executive Officer at RACGP, East Melbourne

About the role
Working collaboratively with the Board, the CEO will implement the strategic plan in order to realise the vision of the RACGP, promoting a high-performance culture and ensuring excellence in governance and financial management. The CEO will develop productive and constructive networks and relationships internally and externally while driving an ethos of continuous improvement in member service delivery. Critical to success in leading this high impact organisation is stakeholder influence, leveraging deep trusted relationships and the credibility of the CEO as a key advisor to the Board.

About you
A highly regarded and well qualified strategic leader, you have proven credibility in health or a closely related sector. You possess high level financial acumen, alongside a deep knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues in health, accreditation, training and member support services. Adept at working in robust, highly visible environments, you have a record of achievement in delivering sustainable growth of people and organisations with a culture of collaboration, where people and ideas can flourish. Known for your integrity and adaptive style, your well-honed influencing, stakeholder management and communications skills underpin your success in negotiating outcomes, including with state and Commonwealth governments. You are driven to create a positive legacy for the
organisation and its members.
