Post Name: Chief Resident Engineer (Based in Kapit – 1 Post)

Responsibilities of Chief Resident Engineer:

• Lead site supervision and QA/QC team in monitoring of works, detailed documentation of works and accurate
• Work closely with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the project
• Fully support and advise project team during their reconnaissance
• Prepare reports and attend site/project meetings.

Chief Resident Engineer Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering & 15 years experience in supervision of civil, infrastructure, geotechnical and structural engineering works
• Preferably registered with BEM as Professional Engineer.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill with proven capability in managing and liaising with all parties
• Proficient in English, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Possess a driving license.

Post Name: Resident Engineer (Based in Kapit – 1 Post)

Resident Engineer of Responsibilities:

• Assistant to Chief Resident Engineer
• Lead site supervision and QA/QC team in monitoring of works, detailed documentation of works and accurate reporting
• Work closely with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the project
• Fully support and advise project teams during their reconnaissance
• Prepare reports and attend site/project meetings.

Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Degree in Civil Engineering & 10 years experience in supervision of civil, infrastructure, geotechnical and structural engineering works
• Preferably registered with BEM as Professional Engineer.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill with proven capability in managing and liaising with all parties
• Proficient in English, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Possess a driving license.

Post Name: Inspector of Work-C&S (Based in Kapit – 1 Post)

Inspector of Work Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Resident Engineer / Head Office to vigilantly inspect on-site development and ensure that work in progress meets the required specifications and quality standards
• Assisting the Resident Engineer / Head Office to prepare detailed and accurate documentation of all works and onsite activities
• Fully support and advise all associated project team during their reconnaissance

Requirements of Inspector of Work:

• Possess a min Diploma in Civil Engineering & min 15 years relevant working experience
• Preferably registered with BEM as Inspector of Works
• Good communication skills, assertive and conversant with drawings & specifications.
• Proficient in English, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Possess a driving license.

Post Name: Lab Technician-C&S (Based in Kapit – 1 Post)

Responsibilities of Lab Technician:

• Responsible for testing and inspection of road/structural construction materials to ensure that work in progress meets the required specifications and quality standards
• Assisting the Resident Engineer / Head Office to prepare detailed and accurate documentation of all relevant works and activities
• Fully support and advise all associated project teams during their reconnaissance

Requirements of Lab Technician:

• Possess a min Diploma in Civil Engineering & min 5 years relevant working experience
• Preferably registered with BEM as Inspector of Works
• Good communication skills, assertive and conversant with drawings & specifications.
• Proficient in English, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Possess a driving license.

Post Name: Survey Technician-C&S (Based in Kapit – 1Post)

Responsibilities of Survey Technician:

• Responsible to Chief Resident Engineer (RE) & Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE)
• To witness survey checking of Contractor’s works
• Conduct joint surveys together with the Contractor on setting out, as well as items requiring joint measurements.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer/ Engineer in the preparation of Site Memos/Site Instructions, survey sketch plans/drawings, and other related documents
• Maintain survey data, and produce same to Assistant Resident Engineer daily
• Maintain a site diary on matters related to survey works on a daily basis and produce same to Resident Engineer/ Assistant Engineer through Site Admin Clerk, at end of each day

Survey Technician Requirements:

• Possess a min Diploma in Civil Engineering & min 5 years relevant working experience
• Preferably registered with BEM as Inspector of Works
• Good communication skills, assertive and conversant with drawings & specifications.
• Proficient in English, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Possess a driving license.

Post Name: Site Admin (Based in Kapit- 1 post)
Responsibilities of Site Admin:

• Responsible for handling clerical Job
• Keep track of workers attendance records

Site Admin Requirements:

• Possess a minimum Diploma in any field & minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
• Proficient in English, Microsoft Word, and excel
• Knowledge of office management systems
