Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre Sdn Bhd (SIDC) is a government-linked company entrusted to carry out research on infectious diseases, development of diagnostic, vaccines and therapeutics. The SIDC is looking for talented candidates to join the team in Kuching, Sarawak. The successful applicant is expected to have relevant working experience and academic qualification as indicated:

Finance Manager, Admin, Scientist, Research Officer Job Vacancies at Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre Sdn Bhd

Post Name: 1. Finance Manager (1 vacancy)

Working experience:-

• At least 10 years’ experience as accountant or finance executive of which at least 5 years was in a managerial position
• Considerable exposure in the corporate sector
• Have had experience as a company secretary

Academic qualification:-

• BA or B.Sc. degree in Accounting
• Registered with professional body such as CPA, ACCA
• MBA will be an added advantage

Post Name: 2. Senior Scientist (1 vacancy)

Working experience:-

• At least 10 years’ experience working in a research environment such as in medical institutions, pharmaceutical organizations or academia.
• Research work in areas of biomedical sciences, biochemistry and other related specialty
• Having published peer-reviewed research findings in internationally recognized journals

Academic qualification:-

• BSc and Ph.D. in Biomedical Science. Biochemistry. Pharmaceutical Science or related areas
• Post doctoral research experience is an added advantage

Post Name: 3. Research Officer (2 vacancies)

Working experience:-

• At least 3-5 years’ experience working in a research environment such as in medical institutions, pharmaceutical organizations or academia.
• Research work in areas of biomedical sciences, biochemistry and other related specialty

Academic qualification:-

• BSc and PhD in Biomedical Science. Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or related areas

Working experience:-

• At least 5 years working experience in government or corporate sector
• Having proven experience as an account clerk or finance assistant

Academic qualification:-

• Senior Certificate or SPM with at least 10 years relevant experience
• Diploma in Accounting or finance or related areas is an added advantage

Post Name: 5. Administration Executive (Communications and Public Relations)

Working experience:-

• Five years of experience in marketing, publications, or a related field required
• With proven track record working in corporate communications and business development
• Experience in office administration is an added advantage

Academic qualification:-
