Sarawak Slipways started from a small auto workshop. With excellent welders and mechanics, our founder ventured into a steel boat building in 1967 and built one of the first steel boats in Malaysia. We are now one of the longest-established shipbuilding and ship repairing yards in Malaysia. Marker, Fitter, Guard, Gardener, Mechanic, Worker job offers at Sarawak Slipways

We are an established Shipbuilding and Ship-repairing Company in Miri and we would like to invite suitable applicants to fill the following positions :

Position 1: Marker / Fitter (5 Vacancies)

• At least 3 years experience working as marker/fitter. Working experience in a shipyard will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work overtime.

Position 2: Security Guard

• Able to read and write in BM and / or English
• Able to work night shift

Position 3: Gardener

• Grass cutting
• Trim and fertilize plants
• Maintain cleanliness of gardens and green spaces

Position 4: Mechanic

• At least 2 years experience working as a mechanic. Working experience in a shipyard will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work overtime.

Position 5: General Worker / Fire-Watcher

• No experience required. Training will be provided.
• Willing to work overtime.
