Post Name: Human Resources Manager (Compliance)

Responsibilities:

•  Develop and execute effective Health and Safety program
• Champions the Complex Safety Committee programs; helps to identify ways to create awareness on the importance of safety in the workplace and decrease accident frequency and severity.
• Ensure that all associates are assigned safety training’s in timely manner and are monitored on every stage.
• Collaborate with the L&D Officer/Manager and ensure that safety training’s are well coordinated and executed in timely manner.
• Manages Workers Compensation claims to ensure appropriate associate care and manage costs.
• Manages the medical and group life insurance scheme
• Coordinate Health & Wellness programs for associates
• Promotes positive relations with associates
• Handles disciplinary cases in matters of gross misconduct
• Manages work permit & permit to reside applications for expatriates & family as and when required

Qualifications & Experience:

– Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or OHS, 5 years experience as OHS practitioner will be an advantage, Must be able to communicate & present effectively, Proficient with MS Office package & internet, Must be analytical and able to strategically advise on training approach and impact of OHS to business.
