Post Name: Assistant to the Bursar
As Assistant to the Bursar your role will require you to work three mornings a week, a total of 12 hours and will be:-
Job Descriptions:

• To maintain the financial and property records of the Trust detailing expenditure and income
• To arrange for invoices to be approved by the bursar, draw cheques in payment, arrange for them to be signed before sending to the appropriate suppliers
• To maintain residents’ records including allocation/ occupation of bungalows, garages and allotments
• To answer the telephone, take messages and pass these on as appropriate
• To correspond/converse with contractors, utility companies, local authorities, staff as appropriate
  You must be caring, sensitive, an excellent communicator, able to work on your own initiative and appreciate the need for confidentiality.
  You must be proficient using all aspects of the Microsoft package, including Word, Excel and Access.
