It is seeking to recruit a highly energetic, self-motivated and suitably qualified Agriculture Manager to be based at their Head Office in Lautoka.
The Agriculture Manager works directly with farmers and companies related to agriculture to make better decisions to increase agricultural production. The Agriculture Manager keeps himself/herself abreast with the latest techniques and information related to agriculture and he/she relays this information to farmers, clients and stakeholders.

The nature of role involves:

• Coordinate Sales and Marketing
• Promote SPF products (regular visits to clients).
• Conduct meetings – educate / advice clients on products available and its correct use for optimum results
• Attend to queries and complaints
• Survey need/demand for new products by clients
• Build and maintain relationship with farmers, clients and stakeholders
• Keep accurate record of all sales and stock -accountability of sales
• Conduct awareness of the products to schools, universities and cooperatives

Key skills and attributes required:

• At least an Advance Diploma in Tropical Agriculture and/or a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Botany, Agricultural Science or Natural Resource Management is preferred
• 10 years work experience in the related field with knowledge of the Sugar Industry and Agriculture sector is essential
• Must be Research oriented, interest in Soil and Plant Nutrition and Weed Science etc
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Group 6 Driving Licence would be an advantage
