New Plymouth Hospital was established in 1983 and is the only private surgical hospitals in the city. We provide services to around 4000 patients each year. Our dedicated, fun team provides services and excellent post-operative nursing care across a wide range of elective surgical services, including orthopaedic surgery, gynaecology, ophthalmology, oral and facial maxillary, urology, otolaryngology (ENT), plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, and general and endoscopic surgery.

We have two part time positions available for an experienced Registered Ward Nurse to join our team here in New Plymouth, 0.8FTE and 0.6FTE. The successful candidate will be a positive, pro-active team player who will enjoy the fantastic work-life balance that we provide.

To be successful you will need:

• A NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practicing certificate
• Minimum of 2 years surgical experience
• Excellent communication skills
• A team player with good organizational ability
• A strong customer focus
• A proactive team member able to work flexibly rostered hours
