Post Name: Internal Audit Manager

Principal Responsibilities

• Carry out the internal audit function in accordance with a recognized framework.
• Responsible for implementing an internal audit program for the Company.
• Review and appraisal the soundness, adequacy, effectiveness and the proper application of accounting, financial and other controls.
• Determine the extent of compliance with these controls and other established policies, plans and procedures.
• Determine the extent to which the Company’s assets are accounted for and safe guarded from losses of any kind.
• Determine the reliability of management’s financial data developed within the Company, the issuance of reports to appropriate levels of management stating conclusions and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy from a tertiary/ institution or holder of a recognized professional qualification.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in auditing, accounting or related activities.
• Must be a person of integrity with good interpersonal and leadership skills.
