Post Name: Customer Service Officers (Call Centre)
The Job:

• Attend to phone-in enquirers and feedback on newspaper and magazine subscriptions, promotions and delivery issues
• Handle email correspondences
• Manage customer relationship through effective follow-up and appropriate resolutions
• Assist in administrative duties and ad-hoc projects
  Requirements:

• GCE A level with one year of customer service experience preferably in a call centre environment
• Passion for customer service
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to converse in Mandarin with our Chinese speaking subscribers
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast pace environment
• Good IT skills and tech savvy
  Working hours:

• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm. Overtime may be required on week days during subscription drive.
• Required to work on Saturday or Sunday from 8.30am to 12.30pm (approximate 3 times in 8 weeks)

  The Job:
  You will work closely with the Head of Digital. Head of Partnership Development and the Corporate Development team to craft digital portfolio development strategies, in order to build valuable businesses beyond news production.
  As a Business Strategist for SPH Digital, you will be responsible for building and planning the growth paths for key sectors within the current SPH portfolio, including Property. Retail, and Jobs, among others.
  The role will require you to:

• Research and understand the dynamics of these key sectors
• Use data, insights and market trends to identify strategic decisions to be made in order to grow businesses within the SPH portfolio
• Scan the market and analyse the potential and right to play in new segments within these key sectors
• Strategies and plan the growth path for key sectors within the current SPH portfolio;
• Identify issues to be solved to achieve this potential, and form hypotheses and solutions to overcome them
• Execute the strategies where relevant
  Requirements:

• Exceptional critical thinking, analytical abilities and problem solving skills
• Business-minded individual who is learn thinking and resourceful
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels, across multiple organizations
• Self-motivated with team playing spirit
• Experience in management consulting, and/or domain experience in one or more of the key sectors strongly preferred.
