Singapore Press Holdings Ltd. Co. Incorporated in 1984, main board- listed Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH) is Asia’s leading media organisation, engaging minds and enriching lives across multiple languages and platforms.

SPH’s core business is in the publishing of newspapers, magazines and books in both print and digital editions. It also owns other digital products, online classifieds, radio stations and outdoor media.

On the property front, SPH owns approximately 65% in SPH REIT whose portfolio comprises three properties in Singapore, namely Paragon, The Clementi Mall and The Rail Mall. Material Handler Jobs

• Assist in all aspects of the day to day newspaper printing operations, including receiving, storage, issuing and disposal of the newsprint rolls and any other printing materials
• Assist in the control of stocks in the printing plant
• Assist in the stocktaking exercise conducted by either internal or external auditor
• Coordinate with other sections or departments on matters related to materials planning
• Maintain and calibrate forklift equipment and coordinate with vendors for repairs
• Ability to generate simple report or data for reporting
• Ability to work 6 days per week including Saturday from 8am to 5pm

Requirements of Material Handler:

• Ability to work on rotating shifts and weekends
• Ability to operate a forklift, with valid forklift license
• Ability to speak and write basic English
• Basic computer knowledge
• Must be physically fit

Company transport will be provided from Clementi and Jurong East MRT stations to and from SPH Print Centre.
