Job Opportunity for Maintenance Assistants at SPH Singapore

Post Name: Maintenance Assistants
(Temporary 6 Month-contract) (Based at SPH Print Centre, 2 Jurong Port Road)

Job description:

• Assist in dismantling and re-installation of printing rollers, unit’s guards, trays, motors and other machinery parts.
• washing/cleaning of ink guards, ink trough and ink trays with cleaning solvent
• Cleaning of rollers, machine guards, printing units and other machinery parts
• 5-day work week, Mondays to Sundays. 2 off days per week which may not be on weekends
• Working hours are 8 am to 5 pm or 8.30 am to 5.30 pm

Requirements:

• Some working experience in a manufacturing plant
• Those with basic engineering skills would have an added advantage
• Physically fit able to lift and move heavy machinery parts, and ability to work in a tight working space
• Ability to work in factory environment with cleaning solvent and inks
• Company transport will be provided from Clementi and Jurong East MRT stations to and from the plant.
