The Southland Sports Car Club SSCC has been operating Teretonga Park since 1957. As the southernmost FlA-recognised race track in the world we have a proud tradition of maintaining and developing our facilities over the last 60+ years.

Grounds person / Caretaker Job Vacancy at SSCC Southland Sports Car Club

Post Name: Grounds person / Caretaker – Teretonga Park

Due to retirement we are seeking to employ a Grounds person / Caretaker.

The successful applicant for this position will be required to:

• Mow grass areas using a tractor and a zero-steer mower.
• Maintain the Teretonga Park circuit to approved safety standards.
• Weed eats and sprays as required.
• Undertake preventative maintenance on all club facilities, machinery and equipment.
• Undertake rubbish collection.
• Clean and maintain toilet facilities.
• Ensure timely notification of any facility defects.
• Carry out track preparation and general maintenance prior to, and during club events as required.
• Work a maximum of 6 weekends per year.
