Requirements:

• A degree holder in agronomy, agricultural science or related field is preferred
• Possess related certifications in relevant fields are highly desired
• Over 10 years of relevant working experience in the oil palm or agriculture industry
• Experience in creating strategies to improve crop production and crop management
• Possess research background is highly desired
• Possess critical thinking mindset
• Possess good leadership and communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at various organizational levels
• Must be self-disciplined and highly motivated
• Based in Sibu, Sarawak, but shall require to travel and stay in the plantations when necessary

Responsibilities:

• Take initiatives to develop innovative research-based techniques in agronomist functions and programs
• Conduct research and training on latest trends in crop and pest management
