Post Name: IT Support Officer

The Position
Information Technology at Tetra Tech International development consists of teams operating at Global, Divisional. Operating Unit and Project levels IT provides secure, scalable, and mobile IT platforms and associated services to enable collaboration, accurate and timely Information delivery, business process automation, and state-of-the-art-solutions to the Tetra Tech team

Key responsibilities include:

• Resolving technical issues for desktop and shared IT services, software, printers, communication technologies and network devices and systems.
• Installing and maintaining Standard Operating Environment, hardware, and related equipment
• Facilitating software installs, anti-spyware, anti-virus, anti-SPAM, and windows update initiatives
• Providing IT on-boarding services to new staff and conducting training as required.

The Person:

We are seeking candidates who are self-motivated, who can thrive in a team environment but capable of working on their own with a strong locus on support tor local operations. The successful candidate must have an IT related qualifications related to an information Technology discipline and other technical certifications such as Microsoft Software Certified Expert (MSCE). Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or equivalent professional experience.

Some key requirements of the role:

• Proven record of achievement demonstrating outstanding analytical skills and creativity in developing approaches to problem solving
• Ability to multi-task and working to conflicting timelines and deadlines under pressure.
• sound understanding of IT applications with strong functional, technical and end user documentation skills.
• A commitment to Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI). Child Protection and the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH).

This position is locally engaged and reserved for Fiji Nationals and Pacific Islanders. The annual salary will be between FJD 56,000 and FJD 64,000, dependent upon the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
