It is now looking to provide services to the wider Taranaki community in the areas of:
(1) Innovation and technology, and
(2) Business growth.
These two services will sit beside our health services and be supported by a financial, human resources, planning and information technology group.
The Board of Directors, in conjunction with Te Tuituia Trust, is currently looking for directors to enhance the skills that currently exist on the Board.

–We seek candidates who have the following skills:
Pukenga a te tini – General Skills

• Governance experience or a strong interest in developing governance experience
• A genuine interest in making a difference and building capability
• Highly developed strategic thinker with experience in execution of strategy
• Ideally have a good understanding of the not-for-profit sector
• Ideally have an understanding and awareness of tikanga practices

Pukenga a te ruarua / Ringarehenga – Specific Skills / Competencies

Competency: Business and Economic Development
Experience: Business reach across Taranaki Experience in managing and / or governing businesses, including financial and strategic planning Finance manaqement and investment.

Competency: Marketing
Experience: Strategic marketing expertise including creative thinking, communication and social media

Competency: Data Management
Experience: Innovation cyber security, ICT & Data Analytics

Competency: Iwi Engagement
Experience: Established Taranaki Iwi networks

Competency: Culture
Experience: Taranaki Tikanga

Nga Huihuinga – Board Commitments
The Board meets bi-monthly with five or six board meetings per year. The Board also has four sub-committees and board members are expected to participate in at least one of these committees. Additionally, at least one strategic planning workshop is held per year.
